A new online tool has been designed to assist millions of taxpayers who don’t typically file tax returns in providing the information necessary to receive payments.

Washington, DC – Americans who haven’t filed taxes for 2018 or 2019 can now submit basic personal information via a new “Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here” web portal unveiled by the U.S. Department of Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service this week.

Those making payments should input their bank account details so that their money can be transferred immediately to their account.

Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin says the ‘Non-Filers: Enter Payment Information Here’ web portal is a tool for Americans who are not required to file tax returns to ensure that they receive their payment as soon and safely as feasible.

Treasury and the IRS personnel are working 24 hours a day to make sure Americans get their Economic Impact Payments.

If you are not a tax filer, you must enter your payment information here on IRS.gov. In order to verify eligibility, compute the Economic Impact Payments, and transmit them, the tool will ask for the following essential information:

Names and Social Security numbers of everyone in the household, including partners and children.

  • The following is our postal address:
  • Types of bank accounts, as well as routing and account numbers

An online tool called “Get My Payment” will be launched by the Internal Revenue Service later this month. It allows taxpayers who filed their tax returns in 2018 or 2019 but did not include their bank account information in their return to provide that information so that they can receive payments via direct deposit, rather than checks in the mail.

To help taxpayers keep track of their payments, “Get My Payment” has been included. Do not use this form if you did not file a tax return in 2018 or 2019. Your payment will be paid in the same way as you get your social security payments.

‘ To create the $1,200 Economic Impact Payments, the IRS will use information from the Form SSA-1099 and the Form RRB-1099.

On April 28, 2020, Ir-2020-83 Was Updated to Include a New Spanish Language Version

Washington – To register for their Economic Impact Payment, low-income Americans can use the IRS’s free, online tool Non-Filers: Enter Payment Information Here.

In an effort to aid even more people, the IRS has recently created a new Spanish language version of the program.

According to Commissioner Chuck Rettig of the Internal Revenue Service, “the IRS is working hard to identify innovative ways for persons who don’t have a filing requirement to get their Economic Impact Payment.

“These payments can be registered by using the Non-Filers tool. The Free File Alliance did an amazing job of translating this utility into Spanish so that it can be used by a wider audience. Part of an endeavor to reach disadvantaged areas..”

Payment Information for the Non-Filers People with an annual income of less than $24,400 for a married couple or less than $12,200 for a single person can use this tool. This covers homeless couples and individuals. Even those who don’t have a job can be eligible.

In order to be eligible, you must not have been claimed as a dependent on another person’s taxes.

Regularly married couples are entitled to $ 2,400, but single people are usually only eligible for $ 1,200. Dependents under the age of 17 are eligible for an extra $500 per child.

Economic Impact Payments are often available to persons who do not have a filing need, just like those who do. Many of these persons are unknown to the IRS since they don’t file taxes. To be eligible for the Economic Impact Payment, you must first register with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

The IRS is currently working on a second new tool to make it easier for taxpayers to track the progress of their payments. This tool should be available on April 17th.

With the help of getting My Payment, customers can track the progress of their payments and find out when they may expect their money in their bank account or by mail.

A new feature on getting My Payment will allow anyone who is eligible to do so to give their bank account information so that they can receive their payment sooner rather than having to wait for a paper check. You can’t use this feature if the Economic Impact Payment has already arrived.
