The Japanese version of Haikyuu’s official website first posted the controversy online. On August 13th, when the new countdown expires, an announcement will most likely be made to the public.
Considering the popularity of the manga, it comes as no surprise to fans that the anime is the focus of this countdown. In case you missed it, a press release from Japan made its way online a few days ago, sparking an uprising among Haikyuu fans.
This is a Karasuno volleyball celebration, after all, and the franchise has just announced a cafe collaboration. You may rest assured that the collaboration’s cuisine and merchandising were covered in the reveal event.
One story, however, stated that the unique partnership proved production on season five of Haikyuu was underway. While the show hasn’t officially confirmed the rumor as of yet, that could change on August 13th.

The premiere date of season 5 of Haikyuu is widely speculated to be August 19, which is also Haikyuu day.
If the announcement for season 5 doesn’t come on Haikyuu day, it likely won’t come until the major anime convention Jump Festa in December 2022. Do not forget that the announcement of Haikyuu season 4 was made during Jump Festa.
As of today, August 8, 2022, the official animation website for Haikyuu has begun a new mysterious countdown that will end on August 12, 2022. The end of the countdown could see the official announcement of Haikyuu Season 5 and its release date.

Haikyuu Season 5 Plot
The volleyball player known as the “Little Giant” inspired Shouyou Hinata to take up the sport after he saw him play on television. This has inspired Hinata to desire to play volleyball for his school, but unfortunately, there is not a men’s volleyball team.
Hinata, despite this, continues to rely on his buddies for support. They were able to get to the Middle School League Match they had been trying to get to. Tobio Kageyama, however, who is known as the “King of the Court,” defeats them badly.
The actor he admires, “Little Giant,” went to Karasuno High School, so it’s only natural that Hinata, who has set his sights on dethroning the “King of the Court,” would enroll there.
But what really takes the cake is the realization that he attends the same university as the “King of the Court” he has set his sights on defeating.
They are a formidable duo in the competition despite their mutual dislike. Hinata, who is improving at volleyball every practice, reveals his ambition to Kageyama and becomes even more driven to triumph.
Their shared experience of defeat fosters a mutual trust that proves invaluable during competition. Due to their mutual confidence, they pose a serious threat to the competition.
