It wasn’t until October 2021, when You season three premiered on Netflix, that Netflix had already renewed the series for season four.
Joe Goldberg is going to get into even more problems, so be ready for that. Probably the most appealing feature is… He’s going global this time.
Director Greg Berlanti and I were instantly intrigued with Joe Goldberg and his twisted worldview after reading Caroline Kepnes’ novel, according to executive producer Sera Gamble, who was instrumental in the renewal.
“In addition, watching Penn [Badgley] bring Joe to life in a disturbing yet engaging way has been an exciting experience as well. Because Netflix has been such a huge supporter of Joe getting it all wrong for the past three seasons, and because of that, we’re incredibly appreciative. In season four, the You team is eager to explore new and darker aspects of love.”

You Season 4 Release Date
Filming began on March 22, 2022, in London, for the fourth season of Game of Thrones.
A clapperboard from the set with the date written on it was shared by the Netflix team. Because this is Joe we’re talking about, of course, the board was covered with blood. Since we last saw him in Paris at the end of season three, it’s possible they’re filming there now.
The next chapter is expected to arrive around the end of 9 Dec 2022, according to tradition.
Either way, we’ll keep you posted!
You Season 4 Plot
Joe Goldberg appeared in the final episode of You season 3 in Paris, but it looks like he has another destination in mind… London.
Faking his own death, Joe fled to Paris in search of Marianne, whom he believes has taken her little daughter and moved to the French capital. According to photographs of the cast in London recently, it appears like Joe has accompanied Marienne over from France.
We don’t know much about his plans right now, but he’s bound to discover something new about himself along the way.
Sera Gamble, the show’s executive producer, told Collider what we might expect from Joe in the future: “There are so many losses and tragedies for him in season three. And we see him having lost or having felt forced to let go of all he genuinely cared about.”
‘So the story from here, if we get the chance to tell it, is about how he gets any of it back or how he finds something else, because if he had one hole he wanted to fill in his heart, now he has like 17′
She went on to say: “Surely since we’ve been together longer, we’ve learned more about his baggage. A lot of things need to be explored, I think.”
Despite the fact that Caroline Kepnes’ fourth You book has yet to be completed, fans will have to wait patiently to find out what happens next.
In Kepnes’ third novel, “You Love Me,” you may already have some theories about Joe Goldberg’s destiny. There are a number of reasons why fans may not be aware of what’s going on until the fourth book comes out.
