‘Dead Still’ is Acorn’s horrific period drama that has one of the most interesting stories ever! The dark yet funny mystery dramedy is set in 1880s Europe, which was known as the era of “post-mortem photography.”
During that time, cameras were nearly non-existent. And if they were, they were incredibly costly. The plot centers on those bygone years when memorial photographers were engaged by bereaved individuals to shoot images of their deceased family members.
That being stated, let’s now get to the details of the second season of this eccentric British comedy (since season 1 has already ended up) (since season 1 has already wrapped up).
Dead Still Season 2 Release Date
In early 2022, All of Us Are Dead is one of the streaming service’s most popular shows, and many fans who watched the entire season within a few days of its release on Jan. 28 are asking when Season 2 will be available.
All of Us Are Dead has been renewed and will premiere on Netflix in 2023, according to Small Screen. Sources tell the media outlet that a Netflix insider told them that the company wants “Season 2” to be ready in 2023. However, until Netflix officially announces Season 2, we should treat this speculation with caution.
Although the first season of the show was briefly halted in August 2020 owing to the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic, perhaps the production won’t have to suffer delays that could postpone the release date of the projected Season 2 much further.
When asked about Season 2, director Lee Jae-you replied that it would be fantastic to continue, but disclosed that there can only be another season if the first season obtains enough attention.
All of Us Are Dead Season 2 isn’t on Netflix’s 14 January 2023 release schedule of movies and TV series.
Dead Still Season 2 Plot
Brock Blennerhasset, an 1880s memorial photographer who lives in Dublin, is the focus of the film Dead Still. Conall Molloy, a former gravedigger, is his new helper, and he makes his money by capturing photos of the deceased. Nancy, Brock’s witty niece, is also a member of the group.
A pioneer of the daguerreotype process, Brock is (a technique that captures pictures on an iodine-sensitized silvered plate). While the times may be changing, his professional trajectory is going downhill.
The art of memorial portraiture is dwindling in popularity as cameras become more accessible. In the midst of Brock’s struggles, a string of horrifying killings threatens to derail his professional and personal life. A serial killer has started new memorial imagery. He captures images of dying people with his camera.
The trio is dragged into the inquiry by detective Frederick Regan, who leads the team into the seedy underbelly of Dublin’s criminal underworld. In a race against the clock, the squad must find the assassin while also combating the burgeoning black-market traffic in unauthorized images. Brock might lose his job or worse, become one of his subjects if he doesn’t take action.
The murder mystery series takes place in the Victorian era, when “post-mortem photography” was a genuine thing. That’s what this Acorn TV original drama is all about. While ‘Dead Still’ season 1 reveals the identity of the assassin, it leaves many questions unanswered and other secrets unrevealed.
Even though Brock has a long list of deep-seated phobias, the death of Henry has broken him. For her own safety, he dismisses Nancy. But this leaves her heartbroken, and she swears revenge on him for Henry’s death. We’re crossing our fingers that they’ll reunite in season two.
Then there’s the Hellfire Club, which has the potential for even more eerie mysteries. To continue the story, Regan and Brock could work together to solve more terrible crimes. There is a slew of potential storylines for Season 2, should it happen. This section will be updated as new information becomes available.
Dead Still Season 2 Cast
There aren’t many original cast members left, so this one is going to be a little more difficult than the others.
But there are a few survivors, so it’s possible that they’ll return to the battlefield. On-jo (Park Ji-hu), Su-hook (Park Solomon), Dae-Su (I’m Jae-hyuk), Ha-ri (Ha Seung-ri), Mi-jin (Lee Eun-same), and Hyo-Myung (Park Hyo-rung) are included in this group (Kim Bo-Yoon).
Choi Nam-era, played by Cho Yi-Hyun, is the only character we can be sure of returning. Unless, of course, the program decides to go with a completely new cast in the future.
In any case, season two of All of Us Are Dead will feature a slew of new characters covered in blood.
Dead Still Season 2 Trailer
Before season two’s (possible) release, the All of Us Is Dead trailer will not contaminate our lives. That’s just how Netflix does things.
