Finally, it took place. Nintendo finally confirmed the Metroid Prime remaster for Nintendo Switch after years of rumors and conjecture. During the Nintendo Direct in February 2023, this remaster was unveiled along with an awesome new trailer. The upgraded GameCube title is officially known as Metroid Prime Remastered, and best of all, it’s currently accessible, at least in its digital form.
This is the information you need to know about the physical version as well as how to pre-order it. Users on Reddit who were able to obtain their copies of Metroid Prime Remastered for the Nintendo Switch before its imminent release claim that the edition’s physical version would include completely reversible cover art.
While physical copies of Metroid Prime Remastered are scheduled to go on sale in stores on February 22 in North America and on March 3 in Europe and Japan, the game was already made available as a digital download during this month’s Nintendo Direct live stream.

While Metroid Prime Remastered is currently playable digitally on the Nintendo Switch, the physical release won’t be until February 22, 2023. It will cost $40, the same as the digital edition, and be available at a few select outlets including Best Buy and Amazon.
There are currently no indications that the boxed edition will come with any extras. Retro Studios wrote an extensive storyline for Metroid Prime, Which Was Considered a Major Difference from Previous Metroid games.
From March 3, 2023, people in the UK will be able to purchase a physical copy of Metroid Prime Remastered. It can only be played on the Nintendo Switch. While a fourth installment is highly anticipated, an improved version of the first game was nonetheless a pleasant surprise.

Metroid Prime Remastered Pre-Order Details
GameStop, Best Buy, and Amazon all offer pre-orders for Metroid Prime Remastered’s physical release. There don’t seem to be any pre-order bonuses available at the aforementioned stores. It’s interesting that the Amazon description indicates that the game will debut on February 13, albeit this is probably a mistake.
The only method to guarantee that you receive Metroid Prime Remastered when it is released is to preorder it. Fans may preorder the game through a few merchants as well as on all the main gaming platforms.
The game’s ordinary edition will cost $59.99, and a limited edition will be available for $79.99. A collectible art book, a soundtrack CD, and a unique in-game item will all be included in the limited edition.
Metroid Prime Remastered Features
The most notable aspect of Metroid Prime Remastered is the enhanced HD graphics, which keep the beloved art direction from 2002 original while looking sharp. Moreover, Metroid Prime Remastered will have a variety of control methods, including the first-ever support for dual analog sticks.
Pointer controls are still available, just like in the Wii edition. That’s not all, though. The remaster also includes new features, such as a Casual difficulty setting, a gallery of 3D characters, and a soundtrack gallery. We have this remake of the original Metroid game to tide us over while Metroid Prime 4 is still very much in development.
