Marta’s mother was a competitive tennis player in Ukraine. Marta’s tennis career started when she was five years old and began training at the Antey Tennis Center.

Her mother is her instructor at the Kyiv Tennis Club. Her reason for learning to play tennis was to spend more time with her mother, who was constantly training her.
