The Chrisleys are in more trouble with the law.
A public citation says that the Smyrna Police Department in Tennessee arrested Kyle Chrisley on Monday for aggravated assault. Kyle is the son of Todd Chrisley, who used to be estranged from him.
People got a press release from the Smyrna Police Department that said Kyle, who works for Penske Truck Rental in Smyrna, got into a fight with his boss. The 32-year-old reality star is said to have pulled out a “fixed blade” during the incident.
According to a press release, Kyle “voluntarily appeared” the next day “for booking procedures related to the active criminal warrant.” Authorities said that he was taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center and that his bond was set at $3,000.
Kyle is due back in court on March 20, per the public citation records.
People have asked Kyle’s rep what they think about it.
Kyle’s arrest happened two months after his father, Todd, 54, went to Federal Prison Camp Pensacola to start his 12-year sentence and his stepmother, Julie, 50, went to the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp Marianna to finish her seven-year sentence.
In November, a jury found the Chrisley Knows Best stars guilty of a multimillion-dollar bank fraud and tax evasion scheme and gave them a 19-year prison sentence. Todd and Julie will also have to serve an extra 16 months of probation after they get out of jail.
Kyle put a Bible verse from Matthew 7:1–3 on his Instagram Story after they were sentenced.
“Don’t judge, or you’ll be judged yourself. For you will be judged in the same way you judge others, and you will be given what you give “the words say. “Why do you pay attention to the sawdust in your brother’s eye but not the plank in your own?”
Todd and his ex-wife Teresa Terry have a son named Kyle and a daughter named Lindsie Chrisley. After the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch was given custody of his son’s daughter Chloe with his ex-wife Angela Johnson, things got worse between Kyle, Todd, and Julie.
Kyle later said that they are now friends again.
“I haven’t been the best dad to Chloe,” he wrote on Facebook in 2019. “I’ve had a problem with drugs and have done some crazy things, but they’ve always been there for me.”
“I went to my dad nine months ago to say I was sorry,” he said. “He said, “I’ll always love you, and you’re forgiven,” and right away, I felt like I was back in his life. I will always be grateful to him for his love and kindness.'”
