Vanessa Hudgens is talking about her upcoming wedding to Cole Tucker and showing off her ring.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, the High School Musical star talked about how excited she was to marry the baseball player and showed off her sparkling emerald-cut engagement ring.
“YES. We couldn’t be happier, “They wrote this in an Instagram post together a week after PEOPLE confirmed that they were engaged.
In the sweet photos, Hudgens, who is 34, is standing in front of the Eiffel Tower wearing a long, maroon, almond-shaped manicure and showing off her engagement ring.
On the other, she is happy and holds up her ring finger as Tucker, 26, gives her a back hug while they pose in front of a Paris landmark.
Even though the two have kept their relationship pretty quiet, Hudgens confirmed that they were dating on The Drew Barrymore Show in May 2021. She also said that she was the one who made the first move after they met on a Zoom meditation group call.
During her talk show appearance, she said, “I get on Zoom and I’m like, ‘Who is that?'” “I will go after something or someone I want. I went right into his direct messages and said, “Hey, it was nice to meet you.” So I don’t think it’s embarrassing to make the first move.”
Tucker also said nice things about Hutchens during spring training in 2021. He said, “I’ve got a girlfriend, and she’s cool.”
Tucker went on: “She’s great. I really like her, but I don’t want people to say, “Oh, Cole is dating Vanessa.” I don’t want to be treated any differently than Mitch Keller or Ke’Bryan Hayes when they bring their wives or girlfriends down.”
Most of what people know about Hudgens and Tucker comes from their Instagram posts. The actress and the athlete share photos of themselves together from time to time, like when they go on vacation or dress up for Halloween.
Before Thursday’s photo, the last romantic photo Hudgens posted was one of her looking at Tucker with her eyes full of love on Jan. 25. In the caption, she wrote, “I’ll stop the world and melt with you.” He replied to her photo with the simple comment, “Always baby.”
