Fire Force Season 3

Nowadays, there are a lot of great anime shows to choose from, and the genre is thriving as a result.

For instance, “Jujutsu Kaisen” is probably now a must-watch series due to its blend of normal shonen action with the supernatural, just like “Demon Slayer” has broken a couple of movie records.

Although “Fire Force” isn’t on this list, we’d be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge the series’ undeniable success, which stems in no little part from its refreshing take on the firefighting genre and the concept of spontaneous combustion.

This anime follows the story of Shinra Kusakabe, a third-generation pyrokinetic who can set fire to his feet. The manga was written by “Soul Eater” author Atsushi Kubo.

As a means of combating Infernals—humans who have undergone spontaneous combustion and become living flames—Shinra teams up with another troop of pyrokinetic known as Special Fire Force Company 8.

The second season of “Fire Force” concluded in December 2020, and it quickly rose to become one of Amazon Prime Japan’s top five most-watched anime TV shows of all time (Via Anime News Network).

It’s clear that fans are eager for more “Fire Force” episodes, so here’s everything we know about the upcoming third season.

When will the third season of Fire Force be available?

Fire Force Season 3

Fire Force Season 3 was announced, although a firm premiere date was not provided. A third season of the anime is expected to premiere in the summer or fall of 2023, which is remarkably soon considering how quickly the show was renewed.

Based on the 24 episodes in the first two seasons of Fire Force and the fact that the second season ended at chapter 174 of the manga, it seems reasonable to assume that at least that many episodes will be required to cover the remaining 113 chapters.

With such a large fan base, it makes sense that the anime’s publisher, Kodansha, would wish to wrap everything up with a movie.

Although there has been no official trailer for Fire Force: Season 3, we can assume that the animation studio responsible for the first two seasons, David Production, will return to direct the third season as well.

Fire Force received praise for its bright animation style and relaxing sound design from David Production, well known for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Anime purists can breathe a sigh of relief if the studio does decide to return to the project, which we cannot confirm at this time.

What Exactly Happens in Fire Force?

Specialized fire departments are working to put out the infernos caused by the so-called “Infernal” in Tokyo in the 198th year of the solar age.

However, as time progressed, people began to master the art of stoking fires without destroying their bodies, making the Infernal a case of routine combustion rather than a catastrophic event.

Shinra Kusakabe, who goes by her nickname, joins the Special Fire Brigade Company 8 to put out the fires she and the other flame managers encounter.

Shira’s family perished in a mysterious fire 12 years ago, but now that a gang has emerged that has developed an Infernal, she is slowly beginning to piece together the events that led up to their deaths.
