Clarkson Farm Season 2

Let’s be honest: we thought Jeremy Clarkson giving up automobiles for cattle was a recipe for disaster until we saw Clarkson’s Farm.

But lo and behold, the show proved to be a delightful and amusing view into rural farm life, launching on Amazon’s Prime Video in June 2021, with characters so charming they gave Jezza a run for his money.

It would appear that not even the host of The Grand Tour expected to enjoy this new lifestyle as much as he does. even if it was a really challenging task.

This show accomplishes exactly what it promises to do: follow Clarkson as he becomes the proud owner of a 1,000-acre farm in the Cotswolds. However, he is completely at the mercy of his crew due to his lack of agricultural knowledge and experience.

While they’re happy to help him learn the ropes, they won’t hesitate to put him in his place if he makes a mistake.

Where exactly are the Diddly Squat farm store and eatery located?

Clarkson’s farm near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire is also the location of his restaurant and farm shop. Season 1 of Clarkson’s Farm focused on the construction and stocking of the Diddly Squat farm shop, which debuted in 2020.

The farm’s products, as well as those from the surrounding villages, supply the entirety of the store’s inventory. Milk, honey, rapeseed oil, and preserves like jams and chutneys are all produced locally.

Bakery staples including cakes, sausage buns, and scotch eggs are kept in stock by village residents. You can order some food and presents to be shipped to your door here (opens in a new tab).

The farm store posted an Instagram photo of the tempting inventory with the words “open and newly stocked up.”

Eventually, Clarkson presented designs for a restaurant at the location, but these were rejected by city officials due to over fifty resident complaints.

The West Oxfordshire District Council apparently shot down plans for the Diddly Squat eatery back in January, as reported by the BBC(opens in new tab).

He discovered a different location on the farm that would work and a legal loophole that would allow him to proceed without planning clearance. On July 9, 2022, the restaurant officially started serving customers.

On Twitter, Clarkson announced, “I’m happy to announce that you now have an opportunity to eat the amazing food we raise and rear on my farm at the brand new (but pretty rustic) Diddly Squat Restaurant.”

The link to OpenTable(opens in new tab) booking was included in the tweet. Unfortunately, walk-ins are not welcome, but reservations can be made at the provided link.

Season Two of Clarkson’s Farm: The Storyline

Clarkson anticipates this year as an opportunity to learn new things and grow as an agriculturalist. Some of the actors have already dropped hints about what will happen in the next season.

Clarkson revealed on his Instagram that he had added two cows to the farm. Cooper also posted a photo of the damaged fence on Instagram with the caption, “It was all going so great until someone decided they didn’t like the gate, wonder who that is.”

Clarkson commented, “So irritating,” and the official Amazon Prime U.K. account shared the photo with their 1.1 million followers. Spoiler alert!” the account added, along with a sweaty face emoji.

The president of the United Kingdom’s branch, Dan Grabiner, goes even further. originals at Amazon Studios promised that “Clarkson’s Farm” would continue to be “Jeremy’s unabashed love letter to farming.”

He thinks the show’s success can be attributed to its genuine likability, humor, and heart, as well as the remarkable characters portrayed by the farm’s animals.

What makes Season 1 so popular will return for Season 2, including gorgeous shots of the English countryside and humorous warnings from Kaleb about how tricky sheep can be and how Clarkson messed up this time.

Clarkson Farm Season 2 Cast

Clarkson Farm Season 2

Confirmed! Clarkson and the gang from Diddly Squat Farm are back for more shenanigans in the countryside. Workers Gerald Cooper and Lisa Hogan and Charlie who always has a smile on his face are in the picture.

This season, Jeremy Clarkson will, without a doubt, be the main attraction. We are, after all, at Clarkson’s Farm. A touch off-kilter without him.

However, the show’s biggest star was unquestionably Kaleb Cooper, the farmhand, and de facto right-hand man. The youngster’s confidence in demanding a perm, disliking driving in London, and yelling at a famous TV host won over the hearts of many in the country.

Kaleb is often looked to as an authority on life on Diddly Squat because he has no interest in leaving his rural setting and finds city life to be a constant source of stress.

And that makes for some great banter between Jeremy, the functionally illiterate, and Jeremy, the urbane sophisticate.
