  • Using an Air-Dryer Is Always Preferable to Using a Dryer

After a hard workout at the gym, your clothes will be damp. Do not squish them into a ball and throw them on the floor before taking a shower. Instead of putting them in the dryer, hang them out to dry. Bacteria will thrive and produce even more foul odours if you leave your garments piled up on the floor.

Polyester, a synthetic fabric commonly seen in workout attire, is a favourite of germs that produce foul odours. Athletic clothing has additional wicking properties that help keep you cool while working out but can trap sweat and scents.

  •  Perform an inside-out transformation

Before washing your workout clothes, turn them inside-out to ensure that they don’t become ruined. The inside of your garment is where most of your sweat, grime, and bacteria come into touch. The microfibers can be more easily cleaned if they are turned inside out.
