It’s now time to wonder whether Servamp Season 2 will ever be released after a four-year wait. The first season was a huge success, and the anime now has a huge fanbase around the world.
The need for additional material grows with each passing day. How many more seasons are there? What’s in store for anime focused on the paranormal in the future? Everything you need to know is outlined here.
As a manga series by Strike Tanaka, Servamp first gained notoriety in 2011. If you count the fourteen volumes that are presently being serialised, it stands at 14.
The manga’s success spawned an anime adaptation, a stage show, and an anime movie. Anime broadcast from July to September 2016 on TV stations around the country, thanks to a collaboration between Studio Brian’s Base and Platinum Vision.
Updates on Servamp Season 2’s Renewal
Platinum Vision and Brian’s Base have yet to announce a second season. In spite of the film’s success and favourable reviews, the studios are still considering a sequel. It was revealed in 2017 that a new Servamp anime was in the works. Fans of the series were ecstatic to hear the news.
Even though we were expecting Servamp Season 2, the new project ended up being an animated film. Servamp: Alice in the Garden, the film adaption, was released in Japanese cinemas in April 2018 but has just recently made its way to the rest of the world.
However, considering that Servamp’s last season was only a few years ago, it’s too early to predict another one. Anime programmes are known for taking longer to return than other forms of television, however this is not always the case.
As in the past, well-known series like Psycho-Pass and Attack on Titan have taken years to comeback. Servamp Season 2 may also take many years to complete. Because of this, the anime has a future.
All future developments will be posted here, so check back often.
Is There Enough New Season Material For Servamp Season 2?
Volume 15 of the Servamp manga series is expected to be released over the next few months. Only seven volumes of the fourteen-volume manga have been adapted into an anime (also includes two chapters from Volume 8).
Since there is enough material for a second season, it is easier to modify it. In addition, because the manga has not concluded, viewers may see another episode after Season 2 if the series continues.
The first season’s storyline is intriguing. Mahiru Shirota, a 16-year-old high school student, is the narrator of the first season’s plot. When he was returning from school one day, he came across a stray black cat and decided to take care of it.
The black cat was given the name Kuro by him. While sleeping on his bed that night, he was startled to learn that the cat was not a regular feline, but rather a servant of the vampires, named Sleepy Ash. Mahiru unintentionally created a pact with the Sleepy Ash that is not permanent, putting him in peril.
