Pieces Of Her, a new Netflix thriller that premiered last week, has enthralled viewers.
Toni Collette and Bella Heathcote star as mother and daughter Laura and Andy, who becomes embroiled in a violent incident in their tiny village. By uncovering information about her mother’s dark and enigmatic background, Andy is putting her life at risk.
Based on the novel by Karin Slaughter, the Netflix series premiered on March 4th, 2022, as an eight-part installment. Even though the show’s conclusion resolved many of the unanswered questions, many viewers are still hoping for a Pieces Of Her season two.
As of right now, the following is what we know regarding a potential second season for Pieces of Her…
Pieces Of Her Season 2 Release Date: Is The Show Is In Works?
Until Netflix confirms a follow-up to Pieces Of Her, we don’t know what to expect. There’s always the possibility that Netflix will pick up the show for a second season because of its popularity, but it’s more likely that the show will be canceled. That being the case, we’re confident a sequel would be *every bit* as warmly received.
The second season of Pieces of Her has yet to be announced. There is, of course, no certainty at this point. Pieces of Her may return, but we wouldn’t anticipate it to premiere until at least 2023.
Although it is set in America, the first season of the show began production in Australia in January 2021 and is scheduled to premiere in March 2022. So if a second season begins production in 2022, we may expect to see it on screens in 2023 if we stick to the same timeframe. There is, however, the prospect that things could proceed faster a second time around if Covid provides fewer constraints in the future.

Pieces Of Her Season 2 Characters: Who has chances to be back in the show?
For the second season of Pieces Of Her, we hope that both Toni Collette and Bella Heathcote would return as Laura and Andy, too. It’s unlikely that Gil Birmingham, who played Laura and Jane’s Witness Protection Program caseworker Charlie Bass, will make a return, unless it’s in flashback form, as we saw him die around the end of Series One.
It’s also possible that we won’t see Aaron Jeffery’s Nick again until the second season takes place inside the prison.
Despite the fact that a second season has yet to be greenlit, we can’t help but speculate about what might happen in future installments. Season one ended with a lot of action, but there were still a few topics that needed to be developed, such as the relationship between Jane (Toni Collette) and her brother Jasper Queller (Josh Hutcherson) (David Wenham).
To see Toni Collette and Bella Heathcote return to their roles as Laura/daughter Jane’s Andy if Netflix decides to bring back Pieces of Her is a safe bet.
Omari Hardwick, who played Gordon Oliver in Skins, and Joe Dempsie, who played Nick Harp in Skins, are both set to return. In the wake of Charlie Bass’s death in episode seven, some viewers would think that Gil Birmingham, who played the character, would not be returning.
Pieces Of Her Season 2 Storyline: What Fans Are Expecting?
Fans of thriller dramas have reacted well to Pieces of Her. On Twitter, a single person expressed their opinion: “Wasn’t #PiecesOfHer a blast? Quite a change from the novel. But the imagination of @KarinSlaughter never ceases to astound me! #Netflix.”
“The Netflix adaptation of #piecesofher (from the @SlaughterKarin book) is heart thumping!” A third person, meanwhile, wrote: “Loved @SlaughterKarin’s #piecesofher, which was also a fantastic book. My opinion of @OmariHardwick as Clark Kent is growing as I watch more.”
