Kim Kardashian said earlier this month that she and Emma Roberts would both be in the next season of American Horror Story. Patti LuPone doesn’t hold back when she says what she thinks about Kim Kardashian joining Emma Roberts in the next season of American Horror Story.
During a game of “Do! They! ” on the most recent episode of Watch What Happens to Live with Andy Cohen, the three-time Tony Award winner, 74, talked about Kim Kardashian, 42, joining the FX show. Who Cares!?” When asked if she cared about the news about the hiring, LuPone, who has been in American Horror Story: Coven and AHS: NYC, said, “Yes, I do.”
Then the host, Andy Cohen, asked the star, “You don’t like it, do you?” and she said, “No, I don’t.” LuPone went on to explain why she didn’t like the idea of casting Kardashian, saying that she thought the part should go to a well-known actor instead.

She said, “Excuse me, excuse me, Kim,” straight to the reality star. “What the heck are you doing with your life?” She said, “Don’t get on the stage, Mrs. Worthington,” which seemed to be a reference to the 1935 Nol Coward song in which the singer tells a stage mom not to let her daughter pursue a job on stage.
Actor John Leguizamo, who was sat next to LuPone on the show, said, “Whatever she said, I double the emotion.” Kardashian posted a sneak peek for the 12th season of the FX show on Instagram earlier this month. The clip was set to a broken version of “Rock-a-Bye Baby” and said, “Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are fragile.”
Kim Kardashian added a message to the video. Roberts shared the same teaser and wrote, “This summer, Kim and I are DELICATE #ahs #ahs12 @kimkardashian @ryanmurphyproductions #delicate.” FX told PEOPLE that Kardashian had been cast, but they wouldn’t say anything else about her part on the show. But the co-creator of the show, Ryan Murphy, has said that he is excited about the reality star joining AHS.
Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter, “Kim is one of the biggest and brightest TV stars in the world, and we are thrilled to have her join the AHS family.” “Emma and I are thrilled to work with this real cultural force,” he said. Halley Feiffer wrote a role for Kim that is fun, stylish, and eventually scary. This season is ambitious and different from anything we’ve ever done.”
THR says that the 12th season of AHS is based on Danielle Valentine’s new book, Delicate Condition. Amazon describes the book as a “thrilling thriller about a woman who is sure that a bad person is going to great lengths to make sure she doesn’t get pregnant, but the men in her life don’t believe a word she says.”
