Fans are going “gaga” over the first look at Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn in Joker: Folie à deux (Joker 2), which director Todd Phillips finally showed off. Joaquin Phoenix won the Academy Award for his role as Arthur Fleck, the main character and one of DC Comics’ most complicated bad guys. For those who don’t know, the Phoenix-led movie came out in 2019, and with all the changes going on in the DC universe, this will be a part of the DC Elseworlds franchise. We have already seen the talented Margot Robbie play this famous comic book character in The Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey, so we can’t wait to see what she does in A Star is Born.
On Valentine’s Day, Joker 2 director Todd Phillips dropped a bomb on fans by posting the first look at Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn on his Instagram account. Phillips shared a picture of Harley and her boyfriend, Joker. They look like they’re having a close moment. Gaga’s eyes show a lot of passion, while Phoenix keeps her cool. He wrote “Happy Valentine’s Day” under the picture.

As soon as the director of Joker 2 posted the picture of Lady Gaga, fans couldn’t help but write in the comments about how excited they were. “Can’t wait for the mad love,” wrote one of the users.
