“In Mexico, tequila was everywhere, there was a lot going on, and there were cameras everywhere. It’s a high-stakes experience, “the star of “Love Is Blind” says only. Chelsea from Love Is Blind is ready to let the past be the past.
The pediatric speech-language pathologist, who is 31 years old, told PEOPLE exclusively that she got over the flirty conversation between her fiance Kwame and his ex-girlfriend Micah in Mexico during season 4 of the hit Netflix dating show.
She says, “It was part of our journey.” “You’re about to go through a time when the person you like is going out with 15 other women. It’s a very unique experience, and since we’re all different, it’s fine for him to connect with Micah in that way.”
She said, “And in Mexico, tequila was flowing, there was a lot going on, and there were cameras everywhere. It’s a high-level, intense event.” On the show, Chelsea saw the two of them talking by the pool, but she now says, “It wasn’t in my nature to talk to them.”
She says that Kwame and Micah needed “some closure,” but that it was sometimes hard to watch. She says, “I respect Kwame’s journey, and I don’t have anything against Micah.” “From my point of view, if someone else likes my man that much, she must be cool. Like me, she’s probably cool.
I do think so. And there isn’t any bad blood. I just think that everything that happened was meant to be.” When Kwame and Micah saw each other for the first time, they didn’t waste any time getting back together. They went straight to the pods to talk about how their relationship ended so quickly.
Things changed when Micah drank a toast to “a shot for a failed proposal.” This made Kwame angry, so he pulled her away to talk about something else. After watching them flirt from across the pool, Chelsea said she didn’t want to be at the party anymore and just wanted to “go home.”
Back in their hotel room, Chelsea questioned her fiancé about his need to address the comment immediately with Micah. “I had to talk to her. What was said didn’t make sense to me. I’m not going to let that ride,” he shared.
When he said there wasn’t a chance to “cool down” during the party, Chelsea said, “You have to think about how your actions affect not only you but also me.” Kwame then said that he and Micah had “no closure” in the pods. She asked, “Did you feel like you got closure with her tonight?”

“Not fully, but enough,” he responded. That was not the answer she was hoping for, she replied, “Oh, my god! Not at all? What would have happened? Just seeing what happens? Getting close to her?” He told her, “I’m telling you I got what I needed.” “I’m happy right where I am.”
She then asked him if he would have rather been with Micah “No. Not even for a moment. I’m exactly where I need to be, and I don’t have the slightest doubt about that.” At the end of the conversation, she told him to “let go” of his feelings for Micah. The first five episodes of the fourth season of Love Is Blind are now available to watch on Netflix.
