Career
Fletcher worked as a cassette duplicating machine operator for Sounds Good in Theale, where he delighted his coworkers with his characterisations.
Fletcher began seeing Phillip Schofield in the BBC1 broom cupboard with Gordon the Gopher while in his final year of acting at the Guildford School of Acting and concluded that a career in children’s television was for him. After that, he met Phillip Schofield, who advised him to create a show reel to show to television producers.
He created a show reel called Justin Time, which included two characters: Anna Conda, a myopic reptile-house warden, and Arthur Sleep, a regional announcer who has trouble keeping awake and can sleep anywhere at any time.
For his CBeebies show Gigglebiz, he employed both characters. Following graduation, he worked with Dave Benson Phillips on the GMTV show Fun Song Factory (he had earlier done Playdays on the stage after its cancellation, portraying the character Mr. Jolly). Several broadcasters and production companies were contacted about the television show.

As his first full-time presenting gig, Fletcher hosted the GMTV series Fun Song Factory for a year beginning in 1998. In 2004, he returned to the show as the voice of Ozzy. Fletcher also performed numerous songs in 1998, including the theme song for the children’s stop motion cartoon series Tom and Vicky.
He owns Scrumptious House, a production firm that has created a DVD titled Let’s Sing Nursery Rhymes with Justin Fletcher. He is the voice of Jim Jam and Slim the cowardly giraffe in the CITV channel show Jim Jam and Sunny.
His voice can be heard on the VTech Alphabet Desk, Turn and Learn Driver, and Bob the Builder phones, as well as a children’s train ride at Animal Farm Country Park near Burnham-on-Sea and several Crick Software games.

Fletcher performed Buttons in Cinderella at the Capitol Theatre in Horsham, West Sussex, from December 2009 to January 2010. He played Josh the Jester in the pantomime Sleeping Beauty at The Hexagon theatre in Reading, Berkshire, from December 2010 to January 2011.
He played Wishy Washy in the pantomime Aladdin at the Hexagon theatre in Reading from December 2011 to January 2012.
In recent years, he has appeared in two pantomimes in Woking, seven pantomimes in Reading, and will return to the Hexagon in 2018 for the pantomime Aladdin. Fletcher played Buttons in Cinderella, which he also penned, in 2019.
He also entertains children at festivals such as Camp Bestival in Dorset. Justin is a supporter of Stagewise, a performing arts school in Bournemouth. On March 11, 2012, his debut album Hands Up the Album debuted at number 16 on the UK Albums Chart.
He released his second album, Best Friends, in March 2013. Just Party, his third album, was released in January 2015.
He appeared on Pointless Celebrities on September 12, 2015, and was eliminated in the second round. Fletcher hosted Justin’s Word, a daily radio show on Fun Kids from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on weekdays.
