After an “elective procedure” on his hand, John Stamos is on the mend. The actor used Instagram on Friday, August 27 to provide followers with an update on his health. He posted many photographs from inside a hospital.
The Full House actor wears a medical gown and has cables attached to his torso and a bandaged hand in the photos. Additionally, the 58-year-old disclosed that he had to have surgery to correct a condition known as “trigger finger”

John Stamos’s real name is John Phillip Stamos, and he was born in Cypress, California on August 19, 1963. His parents, Loretta (a model) and William (a restaurateur) raised him with his younger sisters, Janeen and Alaina.
William’s family originally hails from Greece; their surname is Stamatopoulos. John spent his teenage years working at fast food establishments in Orange County, including Duke’s and Yellow Basket, both of which were owned by his father.

He starred in the CBS sitcom “Dreams,” which aired for 12 episodes that year, and in the NBC comedy “You Again?” which ran for 26 episodes in 1986 and 1987. His first major film appearance was in the 1986 release “Never Too Young to Die.”
John played Jesse Katsopolis (also known as “Uncle Jesse”) on the ABC comedy “Full House” from 1987 to 1993, for a total of 192 episodes.
