What Caused Their Initial Encounter
Larry David introduced the pair on three separate ski trips in the same year. Banff, Alberta, Deer Valley, Utah, and Aspen, Colorado were the locations of their initial meetings.
Hines was a happily married man at the time, while Kennedy was split from his second wife. Hines’s divorce paved the way for them to start dating, despite their initial reluctance to do so due to their very different professional backgrounds.
