Charlie’s Angels, which aired on ABC, is widely regarded as one of the best shows of the 1970s. The show “Charlie’s Angels,” created by the late, great Aaron Spelling (who also created “Fantasy Island,” “T.J. Hooker,” and “Melrose Place”), followed a team of private investigators working for a mysterious client named Charlie.

Charlie referred to his employees as “his Angels,” hence the show’s title. The series’s success has spawned three movies and a 2011 TV revival effort. Although, the original show benefited from its cast.

The sitcom aired for five seasons, with the original cast consisting of Farrah Fawcett (Jill Munroe), Jaclyn Smith (Kelly Garrett), and Kate Jackson (playing Sabrina Duncan).

Jackson stayed with the show for its whole three-season run, but she eventually became dissatisfied with the script and the show’s demanding production schedule, leading her to leave (per People). In the end, this is what caused her to leave the show.
