Charlotte Crosby of Geordie Shore has announced that she is expecting her first child with partner Jake Ankers.
Sophie Kasaei, Chloe Ferry, Jay Gardner, and Holly Hagan, among her Geordie Shore castmates, have all congratulated Crosby on Instagram.
Charlotte Crosby, who is she?
Crosby is most known in the United Kingdom for being one of the original cast members of MTV’s Geordie Shore, the UK’s equivalent of the American Jersey Shore.
She was born on May 17, 1990, in Sunderland, and went to St Anthony’s Girls’ Catholic Academy before landing a role on Geordie Shore in 2011. She had a renowned on-again, off-again relationship with fellow Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle during her tenure on the show. She announced her departure from the show in 2016.
Since then, she’s been on a number of other shows, including as a guest panelist on series like Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor. She competed in the 12th season of Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, and was ultimately crowned the winner.
Crosby was given her own reality show on TLC the following year, titled The Charlotte Crosby Experience, which aired for one season from April 29 to May 27, 2014. Crosby was a permanent host of the MTV show Just Tattoo of Us from 2017 until 2019. In 2018, it was announced that she would have her own reality show, this time on MTV, called The Charlotte Show, which would run for three seasons.
Crosby has a fashion brand, has released a number of fitness DVDs, and authored an autobiography called ME ME ME, which became a Sunday Times bestseller, in addition to his television appearances.
Jake Ankers, who is he?
Crosby has had a series of high-profile romances with reality TV personalities such as Gaz Beadle, Stephen Bear, and Josh Ritchie, but her current relationship with partner Jake Ankers has remained relatively discreet.
Before going public with their romance in January 2022, the two were apparently seeing each other in a more informal way. They have been together for almost seven months as of April 2022.
Crosby has also moved in with Ankers in his Manchester luxury apartment, which he owns, according to the Sun. “Jake’s basically letting her do what she wants with the place,” a source said.

“They really are smitten with each other and enjoying setting up home together.”
Ankers doesn’t have a large social media following because both his Instagram and Twitter accounts are private, which means that fans may only follow him if they request it and he accepts it.
Ankers is a businessman, and he lists a variety of enterprises in his Instagram account, including a restaurant in Manchester called Food Well during the day and Firefly at night. He also has a chauffeur service, Streamline Executive, featured on his website.
“I can honestly say this, I have never met somebody who is that amazing,” Crosby said of Ankers in a frank YouTube video shared on her account. “I can feel myself becoming emotional,” she continued. Because I’ve had to deal with all of those s**theads and k******s, and it was all for a reason. It’s brought me to my happily ever after.”

When did she make her pregnancy announcement?
Crosby announced her pregnancy on Instagram on Tuesday, March 11th. She used the social media platform to share a video montage that contained clips of her positive pregnancy test and an ultrasound scan. The video also captured the moment she told her family about the news.

“A moment I wasn’t sure would ever be mine (and Jakes) is here (and I couldn’t be happier to be sharing it with you all….. I’m having a baby!” she said in the post.
“I love you so much baby girl!!!!” wrote Ankers in a comment on the post. I can’t wait to meet our little one!”

Crosby also made a video to announce her pregnancy on YouTube. Crosby’s fertility was impaired after an ectopic pregnancy in 2016, so the news comes as a relief.
In a 2016 interview with Heat, Crosby stated of the event, “I thought I had a really severe period because I was bleeding and cramping – I can’t express the pain, it was awful.” She needed to go to the hospital because of the agony.
“[The doctor] put me in a wheelchair, and I collapsed out of it,” she explained. I was squeezing myself onto the floor, and it was terrifying.
