Craig owns M-Prints Printing, Inc., a small printing company in Mineola, Texas, and Karen Musgraves is an artist. Musgraves claims she was born six weeks early and weighed barely five pounds when she was born. Kelly Christine Sutton (née Musgraves), Musgraves’ younger sister, is a photographer.

The “Golden Hour” singer, 33, acknowledged her relationship with writer Cole Schafer in a New York Times feature published Thursday.
“He had no idea who I was,” she said of their first meeting, which took place in a busy restaurant where they locked eyes.
After being seen holding hands in New York City in June, Musgraves and Schafer fueled dating speculations.
“A handful of mature men come out, and they’re sweating trying to keep up with you on the sidewalk,” the country superstar told the New York Times of her encounter with paparazzi. It has a carnivorous sense to it.”
The undue attention from the paparazzi hasn’t prevented the couple from professing their love for each other on social media.
“I’m trying like hell not to write about her,” Schafer captioned a black-and-white Polaroid photo of him and Musgraves cuddling shortly after their New York sighting.

The poet, who goes by the pen name January Black, recently gave Musgraves a birthday shout-out on social media.
He posted a slideshow of photos earlier this week, “Here’s to you gazing to your right as you stepped into F***.” “Here’s to you responding to me.” Here’s to your chapped lips and hair that I can’t seem to keep my hands out of.”
“Here’s to your style and your art being a close second to your heart,” he concluded, praising Musgraves. Here’s to you surviving thirty-two and creating history in thirty-three. Kacey, it’s been so damn lovely falling for you.”

Prior to meeting Schafer, Musgraves was linked to Gerald Onuoha, a Nashville-based doctor with whom she was spotted in Los Angeles in April. In the same month, she shared a selfie with him on Instagram.
After completing her divorce from ex-husband Ruston Kelly in September 2020, Onuoha was the Grammy winner’s first public romance.
