Only two months remain until the release of Hocus Pocus 2, finally allowing fans to see the Sanderson Sisters again after what feels like an eternity.
In case you hadn’t heard, Disney dropped the first trailer for the sequel in late June, and it quickly racked up more than 40 million views in its first 24 hours.
Hocus Pocus 2 is expected to be a hit when it debuts on Disney+ in late September, with a rating that is above the Star Wars programs The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, as well as Pixar’s Luca.

Hocus Pocus 2 Release Date UK
The only question is whether you can hold out until Halloween to watch Hocus Pocus 2 when it debuts on Disney+ on September 30. The sequel started shooting on October 18, 2021, in Rhode Island and wrapped up in late January 2022.
While we wait for Hocus Pocus 2, we can always watch the original film again on Disney+ to satisfy our witchy needs in the meantime.

Hocus Pocus 2 Cast
Fans will be happy to hear that their favorite actors from the first film will be returning for the sequel, as this is a true continuation of the story rather than a remake or a fresh start.
They want to make a movie, they asked if we were interested, and of course, all of us said yes,” Bette Midler said to Fox 5 New York in October 2020. I’m totally up for it, she said.
As of May 2021, it was officially confirmed that Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy would be back for another round as the Sanderson sisters.
Meanwhile, it was announced that Doug Jones, another original cast member, will be back to play Billy Butcherson, joining a stellar group of newcomers.
Among the newcomers are Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Tony Hale (Veep), Sam Richardson (Veep), Whitney Peak (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lilia Buckingham (Zoe Valentine), Belissa Escobedo (The Baker and the Beauty), Juju Brener (Vanquish), Froy Gutierrez (Teen Wolf), Taylor Henderson (Earwig and the Witch), and Nina Kitchen.
Hocus Pocus 2 Plot
According to the official plot summary, the events of the first film will be continued in Hocus Pocus 2.
It says, “The sisters from the 17th century who were burned at the stake for witchcraft are back for revenge 29 years after someone lit the Black Flame Candle.”
Before the clock strikes midnight on All Hallows’ Eve, three high school students must figure out how to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem.
