There are a lot of people who like “Given.” This is what we know about the movie and the OVA episode for season 2. After more than two years away from the stage, our favorite boy band came back this year for another emotional show.
Given: The movie premiered all over the world on the Crunchyroll streaming platform in February, and it was a big hit with everyone who saw it. This week, the special OVA episode finally aired around the world, leaving fans wondering how to watch the rest of the series.
Given Anime Season 2 Is Going To Be Back On Our Screens?
As of this writing, Given has not been officially renewed for a second season. The anime series is expected to return for a second season, though Even though no official word from Studio Lerche has been given on a possible second season, the show is still going strong.
This is because the original manga series is still going on, with volume seven coming out in Japan today. Volume seven will be out on December 1st, 2021. This means that there should be at least one more season of the anime to come.
The Given anime series is also easily popular enough to warrant a second season. It has an 8.4/10 on IMDB, 8.35/10 on MyAnimeList, and 4.9/5 on Crunchyroll right now. Because the manga only has two complete storylines, this could be a problem. Both of these were used to make season 1 and the movie.
They say that in the third arc, they’ll talk more about Shizusumi’s relationship with Hiiragi. As this is still being made in the manga, it might be a while before this is turned into a second anime season, though.
If you look at the manga’s current release schedule and the production timeline for previous Given titles, fans shouldn’t expect a season 2 premiere until at least Summer 2022, if not even 2023, at the earliest.
As a gift: The movie
After the first season of Given came to an end, it was announced that there would be a second movie. The movie, which was called “Untitled,” premiered in Japanese theatres in August 2020. It was released on the Crunchyroll streaming service on February 2nd, 2021. The 59-minute movie is free to watch on the streaming service, as is the whole of season 1.
It’s possible you’ve seen Given on social media recently. This is because of the special OVA episode. Episode ‘Uragawa no Sonzai’ (Can’t say goodbye, I’m still drifting with your echoes) is the title of the special episode. It will show the “other side” of the characters that wasn’t shown in the movie.
The OVA came out in Japan on December 1st, 2021, in time with the DVD and the seventh manga volume. There is no word yet from Crunchyroll about whether or not the OVA will be available to stream outside of Japan from this date.

Given Anime Season 2 Trailer Is Available Or Not?
Live-action shows were given to us. Still not enough Given in your life? Check out the live-action TV show! The six-episode series premiered on July 17, 2021. Jin Suzuki, Sanari, Kai Inowaki, and Shuntaro Yanagi were some of the people who played the main roles.
The show is also available to watch on Crunchyroll. At the time of this writing, the final sixth episode is only available to paid subscribers, which costs £7.99 a month. However, the trailer for the Given Anime Season 2 is not out but you can hope to get the show’s trailer soon.
Given Anime Something About The Previous Season
The show “Given” has not been renewed for a second season as of this writing, and it hasn’t been. Even though the anime won’t be back for another season soon, we still hope that it will. As of right now, there isn’t enough material to keep the show going for a second season.
Only two arcs have been finished so far in the first manga, which the show is based on, so far. This is how it worked: The first arc was covered in the first season. The second story was used to make the movie.

Given Anime Season 2 Expected Storyline: What Will Happen In The Show This Time?
A lot of attention was paid to the relationship between electric guitarist Ritsuka Uenoyama and singer Mafuyu Sato, as well as the formation of their band, “Given.” Ritsuka was shocked when he first heard Mafuyu’s singing voice.
