Dennis Allen was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 22, 1972. His parents are Kay Allen and Grady Allen. His dad, Grady Allen, played defender for the Atlanta Falcons for five years during his professional football history.

How Did Dennis Allen Start His Professional Journey?
The Aggies football team at Texas A&M University is where Dennis Allen played college football before becoming a coach in the National Football League. Before he became a coach, he worked as a graduate assistant for Texas A&M.
In 2002, he became the defensive quality control coach for the Atlanta Falcons. This was the start of his NFL career. It was in 2011 that the Denver Broncos hired Allen to be their defensive coordinator.
In 2012, he agreed to be the head coach of the Oakland Raiders. Allen was fired by the Oakland Raiders in 2014 because he wasn’t doing a good job during his time there. When Allen joined the New Orleans Saints in 2015, he was made a senior defensive coach.
