This horror, thriller, fantasy, science fiction television series, created by Bede Blake and Robert Butler, premiered on CBBC in the United Kingdom and DHX Media in Canada on October 31, 2017 (just before Halloween). Netflix does, however, offer access to the TV show.

On March 28, 2017, the first season was announced, and the second season was published on April 24, 2019.

The show is an anthology series, which means that each episode will include a different storey. This TV show aimed to thrill young audiences by combining science fiction, horror, suspense, mystery, fantasy, and adventure.

Creeped Out has a total of 23 episodes, each lasting approximately 25 minutes, making it ideal for horror binge-watching. Each episode tells a different horror story, but they are all connected by The Curious, a kid (or girl) in a mask who appears at the opening and end of each episode and is referred to as the “story collector.”

Bede Blake and Robert Butler, the show’s creators, claimed that Steven Spielberg and Amazing Stories were inspirations for the series.

For those of you who enjoy horror, thrillers, and science fiction, I think this TV show is amazing. It’s more like a children’s version of Black Mirror, with certain episodes demonstrating how technology may go wrong if not used correctly.

However, despite the fact that it is marketed as a horror series for children aged seven and up, I believe that some of the episodes are too frightening and dark for children, so be careful to supervise your children while they watch it.

Furthermore, some sites score this show similarly, with IMDB giving it a 6.7 out of 10 rating and Rotten Tomatoes giving it a 67 percent average audience rating.

Will they make a third season of Creeped Out following the success of the first two?

Creeped Out Season 3 Renewed Or Cancelled?

Despite the fact that Creeped Out has a large fan base and has received great ratings and viewership, neither the BBC nor DHX Media have mentioned anything about season 3 of the show.

After the first season, the second season took 18 months to come out. Keeping that in mind, the third season of Creeped Out has yet to be announced, despite the fact that it has been more than 18 months since the second.

However, neither network has officially canceled the show, so there is still hope, especially considering the show’s popularity. Alternatively, even if they do not renew the show, it may be picked up by another network. Netflix (Haunted) might be able to turn it into an original series.

And, if Creeped Out season 3 is renewed in the near future, we should expect to see it at the very least by the end of 2022, if not sooner.

Creeped Out Season 3 Storyline: What’s New?

Creeped Out is an anthology series in which each episode tells a completely new story with distinct characters and plots. However, they are all connected to The Curious, and each narrative contains aspects of horror, mystery, and suspense.

It makes us think of Roald Dahl’s Tales of the Unexpected, a legendary show that ran from 1979 to 1988.

There are stories in the first season about a child who turns her parents into puppets (Slapstick), a monster seeking a host in human bodies to live (Cat Food), and time travel (A Boy Called Red).

In the second season, there are stories about a youngster who spends his entire life playing video games (One More Minute), a lice infestation (Itchy), the dangers of relying too heavily on digital voice assistants (Help), and a psycho Santa Claus (Psycho Santa Claus) (Splinta Claws).

We might see a similar approach in Creeped Out season 3, but with new and exciting horror stories.

Creeped Out Season 3: What’s the Big Deal with Creeped Out?

Creeped Out is a collection of enthralling, entertaining, and fascinating stories. Each episode tells a new story set in a different time and location, with different persons attempting to make sense of the mysterious.

A collection of enthralling, enticing, and interesting stories that will send shivers up the spine. Various characters must negotiate the inexplicable.

Each episode of Creeped Out features a different environment, scenario, and characters, though some details connect the stories.

In the same way as the American television show “Amazing Stories” shifts and changes important details almost every episode, this premise is extremely similar. The Curious (William Romain), a mystery man whose face is constantly hidden behind a mask, appears at the beginning and end of each episode. His declared goal is to amass as many stories as possible.

In the episodes “Slapstick” and “The Call,” the locale of Karter Bay is described, and Zucco’s Pizzeria is mentioned in “Trolled,” “”No Filter”‘,” “Marti,” and “Kindle sticks.”

“It’s designed to be a developing urban legend,” says co-creator Bede Blake about The Curious. You have no idea what’s lurking beneath the mask… He isn’t a danger to the kids in the story. Because he is inherently curious, he has his own name. He isn’t trying to harm anyone. “He’s just a watcher.”

Creeped Out doesn’t have the idea for an ensemble cast, as an anthology series should, and the principal actors change from episode to episode. The figure of ‘The Curious,’ played by William Romain, serves as the linchpin of the story.

Most likely, this is your first exposure to his name, proving that Creeped Out does not sell itself solely on the strength of its star-studded cast.

Jaiden Cannatelli, a relatively more experienced child voice actor who had previously appeared as various voices in The Adventures of The Napkin Man and Space Ranger Roger, has since made appearances in shows like Murdoch Mysteries, and currently plays Cinnamon in the new Blue’s Clues and You (2019).

In the case of ‘The Curious,’ the narrator isn’t the only one steering the ship. The narrating voiceovers in the first season were provided by Aurora Aksnes and Victoria Diamond (Shed No Fear, Kindlesticks).

These voice actors would seem to be the only ties that unite the episodic clusters of each season, but this has not been the case.

‘The Curious,’ despite being the show’s trademark focal point, is a disguised enigma, allowing for easy casting changes. Season 2 featured Lukas Engel as the voice of ‘Curious.’

Our Ending Thoughts

Creeped Out is a standard anthology show in which self-contained short stories with a few common themes are performed out on TV.

It’s a show in which each episode tells a different story with a different cast of characters, with a mystery element and a few light horror elements thrown in for good measure.

The exception is that some of these episodes are set in the same location, and each episode features the presence of ‘The Curious,’ a disguised individual who acts as a story collector,’ providing a layer of the narrative frame to all of the stories.

In terms of the show’s overall tone, it occasionally harkens back to British TV classics like Roald Dahl’s Tales of the Unexpected (1979-1988). However, Tales’ self-aware humorous undertones and wacky tendencies are missed on Bede Blake’s show, which bears a striking resemblance to Steven Spielberg’s ‘Amazing Stories,’ which aired around the same time as Tales of The Unexpected.

Creeped Out Season  2 premiered on BBC in the United Kingdom on April 24, 2019, and on Netflix in the United States and internationally on October 4, 2019.

DHX Media and the BBC have not announced anything regarding the show’s future, despite the fact that it has become fairly popular. The second season took the creators about 18 months to complete.

With that in mind, there is still time before the show’s renewal is announced by the networks. We think there’s a good chance the show will be renewed.

If it is renewed, Creeped Out season 3 will not premiere until 2021.
