A Quiet Place Part III is currently in development with a 2025 release date. The announcement was made by director John Krasinski on Tuesday during a Paramount investor day. Krasinski would be a logical choice for both director and writer, but neither has been revealed.
As a result of Krasinski’s proposal, filmmaker Michael Sarnoski is developing a spinoff for 2023 based on the A Quiet Place franchise, which debuted in 2018. Director Krasinksi’s first Quiet Place, co-written with Bryan Woods and Scott Beck, made him an A-lister. It was hailed as one of the best movies of the year and made $340.9 million around the world.

“Sources claim major agencies already are presenting possibilities for Nichols’ replacement and the studio will act fast as this picture is still a high priority after A Quiet Place Part II just became one of the greater box office hits of the year,” Deadline quotes the article as saying.

A Quiet Place 3 Plot
After Part II, the door was wide open for a follow-up story. In this manner:
As soon as they go to Emmett’s bunker, they hear the song ‘Beyond the Sea,’ which sets off the primary plot of the sequel. Despite Evelyn’s protests, Regan sets out for the island where she believes the signal is originating from in order to broadcast the feedback from her hearing aid that the aliens are susceptible.
To help her out, Emmett joins her. They get into a fight with other survivors on the pier, which Emmett ends by making noise in an attempt to attract the aliens’ attention so that he and Regan may escape.
Alien swimmers are unable to get to the island, thus it’s a safe sanctuary for humans. Early in the apocalypse, the National Guard learned of the situation and dispatched boats to bring as many people as possible to the island for safety. However, only two boats made it.
A radio signal was sent out by the survivors in the hope that others would join them, and they have been safe ever since.
However, Regan and Emmett’s boat was attacked by one of the aliens, in a true horror movie manner. The persona of Djimon Hounsou (helpfully dubbed “Man on Island”) aids Regan and Emmett in luring the alien away and bringing them to the radio station.
A Quiet Place 3 Cast
Our guess is that A Quiet Place 3 will pick up right where the original film left off, just like Part Two did. With this in mind, Emily Blunt as Evelyn Abbott, Millicent Simmonds as her daughter, Regan, and Noah Jupe as her son, Marcus, will most probably return.
Emmett, played by Cillian Murphy in A Quiet Place 2, forged a fatherly bond with Regan and aided her in her fight against the aliens in order to reach the island. At the end of Part 2, it appears that both of them are still in good health and should return together in Part 3.
Djimon Hounsou’s character, Man on Island, was viciously attacked and there was no trace of his return, which may indicate that his character will not appear in the next installment. A Quiet Place 3 could have John Krasinski as Evelyn’s husband and Regan and Marcus’ father, Lee Abbott, in flashbacks, as well.
There are plenty of creepy movies to watch if you’re looking for something to keep you awake at night.
