You Season 4 Part 2 Plot: What’s Going to Happen?

Penn Badgley, speaking with Entertainment Tonight, said the following when questioned about Season 4’s plot: “The concept remains the same, but the tone has changed. Currently, we’re trying out a new structure. To some extent, it feels like we’re making a genre switch. Moreover, I believe it to be effective.” There was evidently some effect from firing across the water.

Badgley quipped that the relocation to London from Paris (where Joe was last seen at the end of Season 3, pursuing Marianne) was because of the lower production costs there. About the changes in himself, he elaborated: “It’s more of an internal issue than an external one, and he’s making an effort to rectify it. He persists in attempting and failing repeatedly.”

The poor serial killer just has the worst luck. While we do have a better idea of what’s going on in season four at this point, there’s still a lot for part two to cover. After moving to London and making a concerted effort to change his ways and become nice (or at least less deadly).

Joe finds himself in the unenviable position of having to dispose of the bodies of people like his college roommate Malcolm and Kate’s friend Gemma. Thanks to a journey to the countryside that revealed a lot, Joe is now confident that Rhys is the one who has been murdering the affluent in order to frame him.

That’s frightening enough, but Joe also learns that Rhys intends to run for mayor of London, making him a potentially formidable adversary. Now that both serial killers are back in London, it’s possible that they’ll see each other before the season concludes.

Your Season 4 Part 2 Release Date

Joe’s new identity was announced at Netflix’s Tudum event. He is currently posing as an academic by the name of Jonathan Moore. Since we know that scenes at Royal Holloway University were shot on-site, this makes sense. But what he’s doing with his newfound freedom is still a mystery.

Why The Name “You”?

Given that it was based on a book series of the same name, we have a good idea of how dedicated viewers have been to the show. Because of this, the title of this series has received a lot of discussion from readers, reviewers, and detractors. Penn Badgley does a fantastic job of portraying Joe Goldberg, who, like the title of the show, remains a mystery to many.

The name, like everything else about this series, is not without meaning. Some have claimed that the series title is a dig at Joe’s character, encouraging him to focus on himself rather than on the lives of others. It’s no exaggeration to say that Goldberg devotes the vast majority of his time to spying on others and meddling in the affairs of his prey.
