Through his work as an on-air coach on the reality TV series Project Runway, where he mentored young designers for more than 16 seasons, Gunn achieved global notoriety and acclaim. Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style on Bravo and Under the Gunn on Lifetime are the results of his success on Project Runway.

Gunn is also the author of five books on style and fashion. In addition, he worked as an executive producer for Project Runway: Junior, mentoring young designers.

Gunn was involved with different media in addition to the entertainment sector. He was featured in the opera “Tim Gunn’s Podcast” and the fashion-focused comic book series Models Inc. In addition, Gunn has taken part in a number of events, including the documentary Do I Sound Gἀy? and the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards opening skit.
