The Republic of Sarah Season 2: Why The Show Is Cancelled?

This is almost always the reason a show ends, and it is most certainly the case here. The Republic of Sarah had one of The CW’s lowest live ratings of the year, with a 0.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic and over 320,000 live viewers.

These aren’t the kinds of figures that keep a show going. In addition, the notion didn’t convert to worldwide success like many of the network’s other franchise-based shows. Many of them will have a better chance of staying in the air for a long time.

Not to disparage any of the actors on the show, but The Republic of Sarah lacked a big-name celebrity to entice viewers. Many programs without a built-in audience need it.

The Republic of Sarah Season 2 possibility — Clearly, The CW didn’t think there was enough of this to keep the program going and we doubt another network will pick it up.

That’s all she wrote. On Thursday, executive producer Jeffrey Paul King shared the news with a cast photo.

“The news is not good.

“Our Series Finale on Monday will mark the end of The Republic of Sarah,” King wrote. “Thank you to everyone who came to see our little show. It means a lot. Please join us Monday to bid farewell to Greylock.

The CW canceled the show.

In The Republic of Sarah, written by King, rebellious high school history teacher Sarah Cooper (Stella Baker) uses an obscure cartographical loophole to declare independence from a greedy mining business. Now Sarah must lead a young bunch of misfits to create their own country.

AJ Johnson, Ian Duff as Grover Sims, Forrest Goodluck as Tyler Easterbrook, Landry Bender as Bella Whitmore, Izabella Alvarez as Maya Jimenez, and Megan Follows as Ellen Cooper.

What About The Show The Republic of Sarah Is?

Steven King created The Republic of Sarah, which now airs on The CW network. A considerable quantity of coltan, a valuable metal, is discovered under Greylock, New Hampshire.

A state-backed mining firm swoops in to extract the material that would destroy Greylock. Sarah Cooper (Baker), a rebellious high school teacher, vows to stop the bulldozers. There seems to be no way to save the town until Sarah presents an unusually interesting solution: Greylock may declare independence because the US never claimed its land. They win the vote with Sarah’s support.

Sarah and her companions must now establish a country from scratch.

The Republic of Sarah’s debut season averaged a 0.05 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 326,000 viewers in live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM). However, when compared to other shows on the same channel, these numbers are a very excellent measure of how a show is performing.

The drama premiered in June and its final episode will show on June 6th. On Twitter, creator Jeffrey Paul King announced the cancellation.
