Cinematic adaptations of The Little Mermaid will soon make their way into the public eye. Stars During Sunday night’s Oscars 2023, stars Halle Berry (Ariel) and Melissa McCarthy (Ursula) debuted the first, extended teaser for Disney’s live-action adaptation. McCarthy, 52, gave a sneak peek at the film, saying, “1,735 outstanding film artists, technicians, and craftspeople came together to make this new story.”
In addition, “and I may be biased, but I have liked creating this picture and it has been a complete joy,” she added. Bailey, who is 22 years old, agreed wholeheartedly. “And playing the legendary character of Ariel has been an incredible experience.

Ursula, the sea witch, approaches Ariel soon after and offers to help her “become a human.” With a demonstration of her sorcery and an evil cackle, Ursula transforms Ariel’s gleaming mermaid tail into a pair of legs, allowing her to reach the shore and locate Prince Eric.
The amazing teaser then gives a sneak peek at more of the movie, including references to earlier scenes from the cartoon. for the new Disney rendition of The Little Mermaid was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Alan Menken, who also composed music for the animated picture with the late Howard Ashman.

“We didn’t replace any of the songs you enjoy with our three or four unique compositions.
