Before Thursday’s program aired, the 15-year-old actor shared a statement on Instagram about her PTSD and full-blown panic episodes after the accident. Raegan Revord, who plays Young Sheldon, is talking more about a terrifying event she had before shooting Thursday’s show.
The 15-year-old actress said on Instagram on Thursday that she as well as her mother had been in a vehicle accident in the past, which made it challenging for them to work on the most recent episode of the show. She admitted on Instagram that “Tonight’s show was really tough for me to film, personally.”
“A Drunk Motorist rear-ended my mom and me while we were traveling to work.” The irony of this situation is that I spent the majority of this adventure in a car, but as they say, “you need to get back on the saddle,” she continued.

After the crash, Raegan Revord acknowledged that it was “tough” to film because the incident had a long-lasting effect on both her physical and mental health. The only reason she was able to make it despite her panic attacks and PTSD was because of the cast and crew, who she described as being really supportive and loving.
They kept in touch with me along the journey and never gave me the impression that finishing the filming was more important than my health. Despite the unpleasant experience, Raegan Revord assured viewers that she was still excited about appearing on Thursday’s show, particularly following her reading the script, and that she hoped viewers will love it.
“When I read the script, I remember being so happy to shoot it and even more thrilled to film it with my buddy (who was also crucial in helping me through some of those bad times—love you Kenny),” she recalled, referring to McKenna Grace, the actress with whom she co-starred in the episode and was pictured within the Instagram post.
Grace, 16, replied to her friend and costar’s post, writing, “Getting to see how much your show cared for you as an actor AND a human being was really truly wonderful So proud of you for pushing through this. Love you, Thelma and Louise!!!”
