Johnny Manziel Weight Loss
Manziel says he went on “a strict diet of blow” and lost 40 pounds after leaving the Cleveland Browns. “The coke and the oxys and the Percocet were very, very tumultuous in my life and popped their head [up], especially in the days of wandering around the Hollywood Hills,” said Manziel.
“It makes sense why you see me so sporadic. I was 210 pounds when I left Cleveland. I was 170 pounds sitting in Vegas that August, that September, October. Whatever it was later that year. How do you lose 40 pounds? You’re on a strict diet of blow!”
Manziel told Sharpe that he didn’t think he looked “any different” than when he was with the Browns, after making a quick joke about the Olympics. He didn’t notice any changes in his body until he weighed himself at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Fans know that Manziel played for the Browns for two years before the team officially let him go in 2016.
Later, Manziel talked about how he “let down” Drake and LeBron James. In 2014, the first group released “Draft Day,” which was inspired by Manziel.
“There’s a lot of people that I let down and I truly feel like him and LeBron, at a point in time, were people that I really, really let down,” Manziel said to Sharpe this week. In Manziel’s words, he owes them both “an apology.”
