In The Dark will return to The CW in June 2022 for its fourth season, and will eventually be available on Netflix in the United States, although not until much later that year.

The series is well respected among The CW’s current lineup, receiving a 7.5/10, and defies expectations from the network, so don’t dismiss it just because of its origins.
For the first two years, the series aired in April, but for its third season, it was postponed in favor of a summer premiere. That will be the case once more for Season 4, which is planned to premiere this summer on June 6th, 2022.
Filming for the fourth season didn’t start until November 29th and will continue until May 6th, 2022.

New seasons of In The Dark are only available on Netflix in the United States, and the show is available to stream in any format.
The show is available on Netflix in the United States because Netflix had a full production arrangement with The CW until mid-2019. This contract includes the debut of Given In The Dark, which took place in early 2019.
The show will be available on Netflix in its entirety (i.e. during the duration of the show) and will thereafter be available for five years before being removed.
It’s unclear whether the show will be picked up by Netflix in other territories. It’s still on the market in most areas, so it’s a possibility.

Premise
The drama series, which premieres in April 2019, is executive produced by Ben Stiller and stars Perry Mattfeld as Murphy Mason, a blind woman in her 20s who helps the police find out who killed her buddy, however the plot has changed since the first and second seasons.
Murphy, a brash blind lady in her twenties, stumbles through life in a drunken stupor. Jess, her understanding roommate, and Tyson, an adolescent drug dealer who protected her from a horrific mugging, are her sole companions.
While out for a walk with her guide dog, Pretzel, she comes across a body she believes to be Tyson’s, but it vanishes before the cops arrive.

Murphy clings to the only thing that can keep her sane when they don’t appear interested in investigating: figuring out what happened to her friend.
She resolves to solve the crime herself, all while juggling her colorful dating life and the work she despises at “Guiding Hope,” her parents’ guide dog training school.

When will Season 4 of In The Dark be available on Netflix?
Season 4 of In The Dark will not premiere until later in 2022, due to the late air date.
Season 3 took place between late June and early October of 2021. In mid-October, it was finally added.
We’re now projecting In The Dark season 4 to be released on Netflix US between September and November 2022, with October 2022 being the most likely month to see a release, thanks to a slightly earlier release date on The CW this year.
