Dave and Jenny Marrs are a well-known husband and wife team who have their own HGTV home remodeling show, ‘Fixer To Fabulous.’
Dave and Jenny have handled all the surprises and curveballs beautifully, from being small-time real estate developers and socially conscious philanthropists assisting at-risk youths in Zimbabwe to being reality TV stars and parents to five tiny children.
Jenny and Dave discarded the first email they received from an HGTV representative regarding a potential new television show because they felt it was spam.
The dynamic husband-and-wife team was hesitant at first, but after realizing that being on TV and presenting their own show would be wonderful advertising for their Berry Farm (all of the revenues go to a Zimbabwean non-profit), they eventually said yes! The pair, who met right after college while working for the same company in different states, eventually warmed up to the notion of appearing on television.
Jenny and Dave learned about the difficulties faced by families that choose international adoption after going through the laborious and emotionally draining process of adopting their own daughter Sylvie from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
In November 2012, they decided to adopt Sylvie, who was a year old at the time, and the adoption process was completed in August 2013. However, after legally becoming her parents, they had to wait a long time to bring her home to Arkansas since the Congolese government had shut down all exits.
They finally welcomed Sylvie home after almost two years of legal adoption. Dave and Jenny were extremely interested in social work involving orphans and charities as a result of this encounter. They now live on a farm with their five children and collaborate to repair and rebuild historic homes in North West Arkansas.
What were Dave and Jenny Marrs’ sources of income?
In the early days of their long-distance romance, just out of college, Dave and Jenny worked for the same construction company. Then Dave decided to start his own business and relocated to Bentonville, Arkansas, persuading Jenny to join him for a few of years.
They had originally moved to Bentonville because Northwest Arkansas was experiencing a real estate boom at the time, but they found the town to be great for them (they describe it as a Hallmark movie set) and decided to stay. Since 2004, they’ve lived and worked in Bentonville.

Marrs Developing, which the couple jointly owns and runs, was formerly a small firm but has grown rapidly in recent years. Despite the fact that they also construct new homes, their expertise is rebuilding and restoring ancient, historic structures.
They previously saved a 1903 farmhouse in Bentonville from demolition by relocating it entirely outside of the municipal limits to farmland they own. They now reside there with their children and a variety of adorable farm animals.

Dave and Jenny’s company, Marrs Developing, is their main source of revenue. ‘Fixer To Fabulous,’ their reality show, also earns them a lot of money. They’ve become such fan favorites that HGTV has created a new show called ‘Life on Marrs,’ which will feature behind-the-scenes fun from ‘Fixer To Fabulous.’
So now, in addition to their wealthy home renovation business, the couple is making a lot of money from two reality shows. The revenues from their blueberry farm, ‘The Berry Farm,’ go to charity 100 percent of the time.
