Preparing to shoot a scenario requiring the use of a firearm, the actor was practicing with one when it accidentally went off, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza. Baldwin said at the time, “I am completely working with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred.” He made the remark via Twitter.
