In the show, Gabriel Basso plays Peter Sutherland, a low-level FBI agent who works in the White House basement. He has to answer the “night action” phone, which is funny because there isn’t much action at night. The Night Agent Season 2 is set to come out on Netflix in May 2024. The first season of The Night Agent was filmed for six months in 2022, from February to July.
It didn’t come out until March 23, 2023, eight months later, on Netflix. So, if the production schedule for a possible second season is the same, we could expect to see new episodes about a year after filming starts.

The Night Agent Season 2 StoryLine
FBI Agent Peter Sutherland gets caught up in a huge plot involving a Russian spy at the highest levels of the US government. In this conspiracy thriller, Peter goes on a desperate hunt for the traitor to save the country. He works with the scared CEO Rose Larkin and protects her from the people who killed her aunt and uncle.
The official summary of the series says, “Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, the series is a sophisticated, character-driven action-thriller about a low-level FBI agent who works in the basement of the White House, answering a phone that never rings—until the night it does, sending him into a fast-moving, dangerous conspiracy that leads all the way to the Oval Office.”
On the other hand, Season 2 of The Night Agent will probably have at least 10 episodes, just like Season 1. However, the exact number of episodes and what they will be about have not yet been revealed. We want to make it clear that if the show is made longer, the number of episodes may change depending on what the show is trying to say.
