“This is a reminder to always be grateful,” the RHOSLC star wrote alongside an Instagram video of the car she was riding in getting stuck in a pile of snow. Meredith Marks is thankful for all that she has. The 51-year-old star of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City said in an Instagram post on Thursday that she is “beyond happy to be alive and well” after a car accident with her friend Kathy.
“This photo was taken right before our driver, Brent, was able to get the car into the snowbank, saving us from falling off a cliff in Utah,” Marks wrote next to a photo of the two of them in a car and a short video of the car stuck in a pile of snow.
Marks told her fans that everyone was “fine and safe” after the incident, which she said “could have been much worse,” and she asked drivers to be careful. “Please be careful on the roads, especially this time of year when Park City has the most snow we’ve seen in decades,” she said.
(The National Weather Service has told people in the area to be prepared for winter weather.) She went on to say, “In life, we often worry about small things instead of being thankful for the good things we have.” Last year, before the third season of RHOSLC, came out, Marks talked about mental health as she talked about how her personal life affected her while she was on the Bravo show.
She told that “It was a hard year. There were some pretty dark times.” “You already know that I like to be alone. So, I left Utah at the end of last winter. I didn’t come back to this place for about 5 or 6 months.”
“I really needed time and space to figure out what had happened, both in my family and with my friends, and how they had dealt with what had happened in my family,” she said. The jewelry designer said that she ran away to Provence, France.
where she “found her zen” after dealing with drama from her co-stars, the death of her father, and her nephew’s struggle with addiction. For the fourth season, Marks, Whitney Rose, Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, and Mary Cosby are all set to return. No date for the release has been set yet.
