Arcane: Netflix Renews the Show For Season 2

The Netflix series “Arcane” has just been extended for a second season. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about the start, plot, trailer, and cast of the “League of Legends” adaptation.

The video game adaptation “Arcane” is getting a second season from the streaming service Netflix. Netflix announced the series renewal on November 20, 2021, a few hours after the season one finale. We’ll tell you what is known about the new episodes so far.

Arcane Season 2: Start Date.

An exact start date for season 2 is not yet available. This is not surprising; after all, Netflix has only just extended the series. The streaming service usually follows a one-year release cycle. That means we can expect the new episodes as early as autumn 2022. The rapid extension also gives hope for a release in 2022.

Arcane Season 2: Plot.

Season 1 of “Arcane” ends with Jinx killing Silco and firing her missile at the main Piltover buildings and the council chamber. Before the rocket hits, we see Mel, her clothes shimmering gold. Season 1 ends with this cliffhanger. So in Season 2, we will probably see if the missile hits its target and paves the way for a war between Piltover and Zaun. Should the rocket explode, it should kill all council members.

The two will likely survive the impact since Jayce, and Viktor’s story certainly has more to offer.

Arcane Season 2: Cast and Production.

In the English original, Hailee Steinfeld (“Hawkeye”, “Dickinson”) as Vi, Ella Purnell (“Army of the Dead”) as Jinx, and Katie Leung (“Harry Potter”) as Caitlyn Kiramman can be heard again. Season 2 is currently in production. “We are overjoyed with the positive response to the first season of Arcane and are working hard with the creative minds at Riot and Fortiche on the second season,” said the series’ co-creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee, in a statement like the US -Magazine TV Line reports.

“Arcane” was created in cooperation between Riot Games developer studio and the French animation studio Fortiche Productions. The studio also worked on the series “Marvel’s Rocket & Groot” and is best known for its music video productions.
