Fans are waiting patiently for the 6th season of “Outlander”. A recent interview with the lead cast and a producer revealed changes for a character. But it will soon be a time when fans can hardly be patient. A recent interview now revealed information about a possible exit by Roger MacKenzie.
The Time Has Come!
The new season is expected to be the darkest of all seasons. It takes place before the American Revolutionary War. In a difficult time. During New York Comic-Con, the show’s stars gave fans some much-needed season six updates.
In season 5, Roger and his wife Brianna struggled with the stones. It was no longer possible for them to return to the future. And that, although Roger already had problems with the conditions at that time. Maril Davis, the producer of “Outlander”, announced in an interview that it was time for every character to find their place on Fraser’s Ridge.
Does this mean that Roger will not find his place in his past? Up until now, he has only barely escaped death. Fans have to wait a little longer, but the new year is already lurking around the corner.
Outlander: When Will Season 6 Release?
Executive producer Matthew B. Roberts has previously stated that the sixth season of Outlander will be filled with powerful drama and worth the wait.
Sam Heughan, the actor who portrays the role of Jamie Fraser, has previously quoted in an interview in March 2021 about the filming of Outlander Season 6. He told the filming with COVID-19 protocols was quite tricky and that the season had been reduced to eight episodes.
The sixth season is supposed to pick the storyline where Season 5 ended. The filming was officially wrapped in May 2021. As of now, it has been reported that it will release in early 2022.
