Cast Of March Comes In Like a Lion Season 3

Rei Kiriyama

It features the voices of Yumi Uchiyama (Japanese), Wendee Lee, and Kengo Kawanishi (Japanese) (English).
At the start of the series, he is 17 years old; at the conclusion, he is 18 years old. A five-dan at the outset of the series is eventually promoted to six-dan. When he was in middle school, he became one of the best young shogi players in the country. His father’s friend Kda took him in after the loss of his parents and sister in an accident, and he apprenticed with him in shogi. After finishing middle school and becoming a professional shogi player, he opted not to go to high school. Regardless, Rei enrols in high school a year after first expressing a desire to return to the classroom. Rokugatsu-Cho is his hometown (June).

Akari Kawamoto

Ai Kayano (Japanese) and Laura Post (English) provide the voices (English).
She resides in Sangatsu-Cho with her elder sister (March town). As a result of the deaths of both her mother and grandmother, she took on the role of main caretaker for her two younger sisters. During the day, her grandpa manages Mikazuki-d*, a traditional wagashi (Japanese sweets) store, while her aunt runs Misaki, a Ginza bar. At night, Akari brings Rei home, where she nurses him back to health while he sleeps. This begins a special friendship between Rei and his family. This is a nickname she uses for Rei quite a bit.

Hinata Kawamoto

Japanese; Kayli Mills (English) (English)
She is the middle child in a family of three. This is a middle school kid. She likes to sleep in and make Bentos in the kitchen on her own in the mornings. Friends refer to Rei as “Rei-chan.”
Her amorous sentiments for Rei increase as the book continues, exactly like those of her elder sister Akari. She cherishes the time she gets to spend with her friends and family. Toward the end of her life, she aspires to be as mature as her elder sister. Later, she graduated from middle school, went to the same high school as Rei, and began a romantic connection with him.

Masachika Koda

Voices include Japanese actor Toru Okawa and English actor Cam Clarke (English)
Rei’s shogi instructor, a dan-level expert. In shogi, he and Rei’s biological father competed against one other. After the deaths of Rei’s parents and sister, he takes in Rei and teaches him shogi. He was particularly severe with his children while they were learning it on their own. He takes shogi extremely seriously. Both of Rei’s Koda siblings hated their father’s attention and treated him harshly as he grew up.

Kyoko Koda

Featuring the voices of Japanese actress Marina Inoue and American singer-songwriter Lauren Landa (English)
Ayumu’s older sister and the elder Koda’s daughter. Her and Rei are four years apart in age. As a result of her inclination to discourage Rei before matches, Kyoko has a deep-seated animosity for the young man. Masamune Got, a married guy, is the man she seems to be infatuated with. When Rei initially came into the family, she was openly antagonistic to him because she was envious of the attention her father lavished on him. He told her she wasn’t good enough to play shogi professionally since the field was dominated by males and she couldn’t compete. In times of loneliness, she usually makes her way to Rei’s place. Since Rei was only wanting to be a part of her family and not take it, she recognises that she had been unjust against him.
