On September 29, 2018, Jeremy Zag made the first public announcement of the movie at the “Miraculous” panel at ComiKon stanbul 2018.
The film’s release date was officially announced on December 5, 2018: 2021. Both the beginning of the universe and the conclusion to Season 5 will be reflected in its narrative.
The studio wants to finish Season 4 and Season 5 before the movie comes out. In the Miraculous panel at Comic Con Experience 2018, Zag announced that the film will be a musical and feature music composed by himself.
Ladybug & Cat Noir Awakening will be the title of the film, which was officially announced on May 16th at the Cannes Film Festival 2019. The movie is now in development, and it’s being marketed as a romantic fantasy adventure, according to the latest information.
Filmmaker Michael Gracey, who directed The Greatest Showman, is also on board. Lou Jean and Lenni-Kim sang the song “The Wall Between Us” (Ce mur qui nous sépare) for the movie “Jeremy Zag’s Instagram Story” on June 7, 2019. On July 24, 2019, a solo performed by Lou for the new song was made available.
Jeremy Zag shared a few plot details about the upcoming animated musical on January 8th, 2020. On February 12, 2020, Fantawild was confirmed as one of the studios involved in the film’s creation and animation.
A release date for the animated musical was confirmed on July 22, 2020.
When Will Ladybug and Cat Noir Awakening Be Available?
According to Le Figaro, the movie’s release date has been set for the end of 2021. This was announced during the Annecy Festival on June 18, 2021. The release date was set for the first half of 2022.
