The sparrows have been whistling from the rooftops for a long time that “Black Widow” star Florence Pugh will be part of the MCU series “Hawkeye” ( we have already reported ). Marvel fans remember assassin Yelena Belova received an assignment in the credits scene of the Scarlett Johansson solo film by Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).
Yelena was told that none other than Avengers member Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) was responsible for the death of her sister Natasha. Hawkeye, therefore, becomes Yelena’s next target. The episode promo consists of a montage of scenes mainly from the first three episodes, but the last shot reveals Yelena suited up in a balaclava and night vision glasses.
There are huge chances that this will be none other than Florence Pugh, who was previously seen in the standalone Black Widow film. The casting of the actress for Hawkeye was even confirmed last year.
Of course, for the MCU series “Hawkeye” on Disney +, that means that Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) and her mentor will have to deal with Yelena. Hawkeye Episode 4: When Will It Release?
The fourth episode of Hawkeye will be released on Disney+ on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. So far, three episodes of the Marvel superhero drama have been released on Disney+. With the fourth episode, the series has reached its halfway mark, more surprises and characters await the fans in the coming episodes. The previously released three episodes marked the introduction of Echo in the MCU, and some more characters are waiting for their gigantic entry.
Apart from Florence Pugh’s Yelena, another huge Marvel character set to appear in the show is Kingpin. In the third episode, the character of Echo and Kazi’s uncle was teased in the storyline. As per the rumors, there are high chances that this ‘uncle’ will be Vincent D’Onofrio reprising his role as Kingpin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The latter is not confirmed so far, and it is only a speculation.
