'Iron Man 2' Feud Rumors Dispelled By Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson: Delighted to Have Another Woman!

On the most recent episode of The Goop Podcast, the ladies discussed their time spent on the Iron Man 2 set. Scarlett Johansson and Gwyneth Paltrow are dispelling old rumors regarding their collaboration on Iron Man 2.

The women addressed allegations from their time on the set of the 2010 Iron Man sequel in Tuesday’s episode of The Goop Podcast as they reflected on their experiences working on movies for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

People frequently ask me if it’s true that Scarlett Johansson and I didn’t get along while filming Iron Man. Johansson, 38, overheard Paltrow, 50, talking fondly about the 2010 movie. As Natasha Romanoff, nicknamed Black Widow, Johansson made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the movie, and Paltrow returned to the character of Pepper Potts.

Johansson exclaimed, “You were so nice to me!” as she questioned Paltrow about the veracity of the report. “You might have been terrible. In that movie, I was much outside of my comfort zone. That was something I had never done before. Additionally, you formed such strong friendships.

In response, the creator of Goop told Scarlett Johansson that the cast was “so psyched” that Johansson was present and said that she was “happy to have another woman around.” Robert Downey Jr., Mickey Rourke, Don Cheadle, and Jon Favreau were all featured in Iron Man 2.

“I know. You keep saying that to me,” Johansson joked. You exclaimed, “Thank God!” Both actors agreed that their time in Marvel films might be coming to an end, despite Paltrow’s comment that it was “so fun to be in something that resonated so deeply with people culturally.”

The chapter is over. I completed all I had to,” Johansson claimed. Additionally, returning and playing a character over the course of a decade is such a special experience. When Paltrow remarked that it seemed improbable that a “64-year-old Pepper Potts” would appear in the next films, Paltrow responded, “I mean, I didn’t die so they can always ask me.”

When asked why there should be a conflict between women in 2010, Paltrow responded, “They’re pitting you against each other and I just think, ‘Why do we need to make a problem between women?'” I consider that to be the boring part. I adore Scarlett,” she continued. She was a joy to have on site. She is a great comedian. She’s quite profane. She laughs in a filthy way. She enjoys cooking. She reminds me of the perfect girl.
