Dulce Maria is a multitalented Mexican artist who can both act and write songs. Her hits “La Mejor De Tus Sonrisas” and “Prende El Switch” made her a household name.
Early Life
Dulce Maria got her start as a kid star in advertising. She now stars as Elmo in Sesame Street, México. She started in commercials and got the role of Gaby on El Club de Gaby when she was quite young. Maria has been featured in multiple Discovery Kids specials.
This singer’s previous gig was on Televisa’s soap operas. She didn’t know she had potential until she took part in a music project called Rebelde.
In 1996, this lyricist became a member of the Mexican band Kids. Her new single, a collaboration with Akon, is doing well.

Maria eventually departed the group after three years. Together with her then-boyfriend Daniel Habif, she decided to form a D&D group. They only recorded five tracks before calling it quits. Dulce had the lead part in the telenovela “Class 406” in 2002 after spending two years as a member of the female Latin pop group “Jeans.”

Dulce Maria Career
After the success of Rebelde, the RBD team of Alfonso Herrera, Maite Perroni, Christian Chavez, and Christopher Von Ackerman created the character of Dulce. This band has released 9 studio albums, with cumulative sales of over 20 million copies around the world.
On August 15, 2008, RBD announced their breakup and embarked on their final tour, the 2008-ending Gira Del Adios World Tour. In a duet with Tiziano Ferro and Anahi, Maria dropped a single titled “El Regalo Mas Grande.” Dulce began her solo career in 2009 and signed with Universal Music.
Her debut solo effort, “Inevitable,” was released on May 17, 2010. On November 9 of that year (2010), she published Extranjera, her debut solo effort. Dulce revealed that the June 14th, 2011 release date for Extranjera Segunda Parte.
‘Day,’ Maria’s third studio album, was released on March 10, 2017, and a Day tour was launched the same day to support the album. She has also performed in Mexico and Brazil, among others. This performer has acted in a number of films, including “Inesperado Amor,” “Quiero Ser Zied,” “El Agente OO-Pz,” and others.
