Jeymi’s friends pointed out the latest red flag in her relationship with Kris on the most recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way.
When Kris told Jeymi’s friends that she might have to go back to the U.S. for a court date, Jeymi’s friends didn’t believe her and thought she might be giving Jeymi the runaround before their quick wedding.
During an emotional conversation on Sunday night’s episode, Jeymi talked about why she was worried about Kris leaving Colombia just days after she got there, which one of her friends confirmed was “weird.”

The friends told the cameras how they really felt and what they were worried about. “When Jeymi told me Kris had to leave a day before the wedding, I thought she was trying to get away from Jeymi. She does not want to make a choice. She doesn’t want her around. Something went wrong when she met her, and she says, “I’m sorry.” “a Spanish-speaking friend said. They also thought that Kris had made up the whole court date.
Jeymi was hurt all over again by Kris’s possible return to the U.S. Kris disappeared for a month before Jeymi’s 30th birthday when they were still just talking on the phone. This wasn’t the only time Kris had disappeared during their relationship. While Jeymi was away, she met someone new. When Kris came back, they both felt like they’d been lied to.
In the episode that aired on Sunday, Jeymi’s friends asked her straight out, “Don’t you worry that she’ll disappear as she did before?”
Jeymi’s answer was, “I’m afraid she’ll leave and then tell me, “Oh no, now it’s not this, now it’s that.” It will be a week or a month instead of those days. Or forever.”
A friend asked, “Couldn’t it be a sign that it’s not supposed to happen?”
Jeymi did stand up for her relationship with Kris, though: “We are a couple and I love her. It’s not a fairy tale, but we are together. I have to because I want to help her.”
The two have gotten over the hurts of the past and seem to be moving forward with confidence, but with Kris back in the U.S., it remains to be seen how their relationship will hold up.
During all of this, Kris was getting better from a very painful neck injury, and the couple was also getting closer to their wedding date. In this episode, she was sick and had to stay in bed. This was just one more reason why Kris and Jeymi’s walk down the aisle was going to be hard.
